Converse EDC Launches New Marketing Campaign – “Write Our Story”

The City of Converse Economic Development Corporation (Converse EDC) wanted to share the new story of Converse as well as the foundation of their story that includes the dedicated partners in the community. The goal of the new marketing campaign is to tell the compelling story that is Converse, to highlight why people and businesses Choose Converse. This campaign shares familiar faces of the San Antonio region and long-standing pillars of the Converse business community. Featured are business owners, entrepreneurs, community leaders, and developers who have believed in Converse and continue to invest in the community.

Shared from one of the regional voices, “Converse is preparing for growth and improvement. The outlook for the City is extremely positive moving forward. City leadership and the Economic Development Corporation are proactively planning and embracing new development. The City of Converse’s new story highlights the possibilities being created (includes the new annexation announced in 2017) for those who have been a part of that growth currently, as well as an invitation to be a part of the City’s future. Converse is geared to grow to 22 square miles and a projected population of 100,000 in the early 2030s. Loop 1604 has ample land available with accessible utilities and commercial zoning. The City has over $300 M dollars in road and infrastructure improvements planned over the next five years, including a TxDOT project that will widen 1604 creating a highly-functioning highway and create a new interchange at IH-10. 

The Converse EDC will actively communicate the opportunity that this growth creates, opportunity for those considering what areas of our region are an untapped market for retail, restaurant, hospitality, and commercial developments. This campaign highlights those that believe in Converse and invites others to help “Write Our Story”.
